What Really Happens During a Boudoir Photoshoot in Las Vegas?

If you're sitting there scrolling, thinking about doing a boudoir shoot in Vegas, but every "what to expect" page or boudoir FAQ you read sounds like the same fake-ass sales script full of "empower your inner goddess" crap... yeah, I get it. It's exhausting.

I'm not here to sell you some life-changing transformation fairy tale. I'm gonna talk to you like we're grabbing a drink and you're asking me straight up: "Okay, what the hell actually happens if I book with Viva Boudoir?"

You're probably asking yourself:

• What actually happens during a boudoir photo session?
• Do I have to be "perfect"?
• How private is it really?
• How long does a photoshoot take?
• And most importantly… will I actually feel good about it?

Common questions people actually ask me (Boudoir Photography FAQ):

"I'm nervous. I've never done this before." Yeah, most people are. Heart's pounding when they walk in. That's normal. It's part of what makes it feel real. You don't need to have done this before or know how to pose. We start slow: just talking for a minute, getting comfortable with the space, figuring out what feels good for you today. The nerves usually go away pretty quick once we start.

"I'm not a model / curvy / not 'perfect.' Will this look hot?" Yes. Lighting and the way we direct make every body look good—really good. Shadows do a lot of the work. We can shoot every type of person. The pictures come out strong. This isn't about fixing you. It's about showing what you already have.

"Are Hair & makeup included?" No, not automatic. But if you want it, we can bring in local people who do makeup, hair, lashes, whatever. Just say so when you book and we'll set it up. To be honest, a lot of people skip it and the shots still look great.

"How private are my photos?" Completely private. The session and the pictures stay between us. Nothing goes online or gets shown anywhere unless you give written permission. That's the rule. Period.

"What should I bring?" Bring whatever makes you feel good—start with at least one set of lingerie, but 2–4 outfits give us options. Robes, heels, big shirts, jackets, jerseys, whatever. Personal stuff works. I'll send you a prep guide after you book with timing and details. For prep: just do what you normally do. Clean skin, lotion if you want. Don't try new wax or tan right before.

"How long does the session take?" It varies. Usually 2–4 hours total—includes any hair/makeup, changing, shooting, and looking at the pictures after. We go at your speed.

"When do I see my photos?" Same day if you want. We sit down right after shooting and go through them together in the studio or suite. You pick what you like, and let us know if any photoshop editing is wanted/needed.

"Retouching? Digitals? Timeline?" If you buy pictures, they can be retouched—skin smoothed, small stuff fixed, but you still look like you. No plastic fake look. Digitals come through a secure, password-protected gallery. Retouching takes 5–7 business days. Albums or prints usually 2–4 weeks. We can rush if you need it.

"How much does it cost?" It's different for everyone. Depends on how many pictures, digitals, albums, prints, etc. Some people want a small private set. Others go bigger. Call me and we'll talk it through and give you a straight number.

"Couples? Nudity? Location?" Couples: Yes, we do them. The energy is different—more tension, more connection. Nudity: Whatever you're comfortable with—covered, implied, or full. Location: Either the private studio or a nice Strip suite. We can handle everything.
